LOVEPLAY - SET DESIGN

This was a set I designed for the Shameless Hussies in 2004. It was called "Loveplay".  Basically they wanted me to create an interesting surface to project imagery onto. I had to create the hand drawn imagry to be projected and also provide props, etc. It was fun to do, and looked great!! Enjoy.

HERE IS THE MAIN ARCHWAY WHEN IT WAS NOT PROJECTED ON.

THE SET WAS BROWN CRAFT PAPER ON A ROLL, AND I CRUMPLED IT TO CREATE TEXTURE

THE LIGHTING ADDED THE WARM ELEMENTS

HERE YOU CAN SEE SOME OF THE PROJECTIONS ON THE PAPER.

MORE OF THE IMAGES I HAD TO DRAW TO BE PROJECTED.

THE FLOOR WAS ALSO LIGHTENED TO CREATE A PROJECTION SURFACE

SOME OF THE PROPS USED TO CREATE THE ATTIC ARTISTS STUDIO SCENE

NOTICE THE BEAMS PROJECTED ON THE PAPER....

ANOTHER VIEW OF THE WHOLE SET. NOTICE HOW THE PAPER VANISHED WITH THE RIGHT LIGHT

BEAUTIFUL LIGHTING BY MICHEAL SHALDEMOSE

NRG AURUM - ROCK SHOW DESIGN

This was the FIRST set design I EVER did. It was back in 2003 for Ophidian Entertainment's high energy pop music review spectacular "NRG-Aurum".

I also contributed to this show as Writer, Co-choreographer, Artistic Producer, Co- Director and of course Singer/Dancer.

PRODUCTION PHOTOS
The picture quality not very good, but you can get a feel for what it was like. One of the hardest shows I have ever worked on, but also one of my fondest memories. Check it out!!
